I was unable to verify by credit card yet there is a $1 charge on my card.

In order for us to successfully verify your identity via credit card, the billing address needs to match either the old or new address on your Updater account. If it isn't an exact match, you'll receive an error message letting you know that we unfortunately cannot accept this credit card as a valid form of identity verification.

Oftentimes, your bank will put a temporary hold of the amount since a charge was attempted but that will go away within the next few days.
